I am in love with a new bottle of wine. It came in our De La Montanya shipment. It is a 2005 De La Montanya Estate Vineyards Chardonnay. Thankfully, 3 bottles came, as I will be keeping the other two for a few more years.Perfection! Just a slight oaky scent, with a very little touch of butter on the nose, with lots of citrus undertones. So smooth and full in the mouth and the taste lingered. Yum! Just a hint of oak in the taste, green apples, peaches, a little citrus and a bit of spice on the end. I can still taste it today.
The 2004 was $30 a bottle, so I would assume this is around the same price, but I can't find a listing for it on the website.
I have to see if I can talk my husband into reordering some of this so that I can have more than 2 bottles to taste over the years.
